Last year was a special one for Siglap as we celebrated 50 years as a learning institution. It culminated in the Grand Dinner on 16 July at the Orchard Hotel. Dr. Balaji Sadasivan, a former Siglapian and currently a Member of Parliament, graced the occasion as the Guest-of-Honour for the night. Other distinguished guests included members of the School Advisory Committee, ex-Principals, ex-teachers and ex-students of Siglap. It was a night to remember as we all gathered as one and reminisce over the good old days in Siglap. Several mementos like the Siglap uniform, the Clarion and the school textbook were sealed in a time capsule that will be unveiled in 25 years to come. Siglap Secondary School has come so far and has made significant contributions in the education field. No doubt, we will continue to go forward and strive for excellence!
